Health Academy Students' Efforts in Feral Cat Issue.
January 2, 2017
Congrats to our Health Academy Seniors Ashley Aragon, Marinelle Dulluog, Kimberly Serna, and Angela Acoba for extending their Junior Project topic beyond the classroom.
They have been working towards decreasing the feral cat population in the community. This is an ongoing problem not only in Kalihi, but in many other areas of the island.
They have been featured on Hawaii News Now with Representative John Mizuno to raise awareness regarding this issue. Currently, a draft is being made to provide funds for cat traps and other needed supplies.
